The One Word That Rhymes With “Orange”


For years, we’ve been told that there is no word in the English language that rhymes with orange. So, I checked that out.

Imagine my surprise when I found that there is one word, according to the mighty Oxford English Dictionary, that rhymes with orange.

It’s sporange and it’s a rare alternate form of sporangium. Sporangium is a botanical term for a part of a fern or similar plant.
