What a Night for a Knight

I heard the following riddle last night at Thanksgiving dinner:

One night, a king, a queen, a prince, a princess and two servants went on a boat. The boat sank, and the king, the queen, the prince, the princess and the two servants drowned. Who survived?

Naturally, I answered, “No one.”

I was wrong. The knight did, as in “One knight, a king, a queen, a prince …”

More fun with homophones, and apologies to the folks who made “Scooby-Doo.”

Until next time! Use the right words!
